Arsenopyrite, ilvaite, quartz

A rare specimen of elongated arsenopyrite crystals on a quartz base sprinkled with ilvaite crystals from the 2nd Soviet mine in Dalnegorsk, Russia. The specimen comes from a private collection and was probably found in the 1990s. Only a few specimens with a similar elongated habit of arsenopyrite crystals are known, which makes this specimen a real rarity.
