A truly unusual specimen of fluorite with pyrhotite from the Nikolayevsky mine in Dalnegorsk, Russia. Although this locality supplies the world market with fluorite in relatively large quantities, specimens containing a combination of fluorite and ore mineral crystals are not very common, making them highly sought after by collectors from around the world. Add to this the unusual octahedral habit of the fluorite crystals, and the result is this elegant beauty.
