Popis produktu
Spinel twin of galena on a small matrix consisting mainly of sphalerite from the 2nd Soviet mine in Dalnegorsk, Russia. This locality readily provides remarkable specimens of crystallographic peculiarities, and the local twin intergrowths of galena crystals according to the spinel law are well known. This specimen is a fine example of this phenomenon due to its composition and the luster of its crystals. The diversity of the specimen is complemented by pyrrhotite and yellow calcite crystals, while small quartz druses embellish the matrix.
