A gem among the Dalnegorsk specimens from the 2nd Soviet mine! The specimen sparkles like a diamond brooch thanks to the extremely shiny apophyllite, whose sharp and well-developed octahedrons are scattered across semi-transparent quartz crystals. Apophyllite is rare at this site, which, together with the inclusions of small ilmenite crystals in the quartz, gives the specimen remarkable collector’s value.
