Apophyllite

Apophyllite is one of the minerals found only sporadically in Dalnegorsk. Generally, specimens come from two locations—more often from the Bor quarry, and less frequently from the 2nd Soviet Mine. The origin of this specimen is revealed by small ore aggregates hidden in the matrix, which is a typical feature of the second locality. The specimen is characterized by a nice luster and remarkably sharp crystals. It is more of a systematic specimen that will be particularly attractive to collectors focused on this significant Russian locality.
