A delicate, high-contrast specimen of a deep pink ruby crystal on light-colored macrocrystalline marble from the world-famous Mogok deposit in Burma. The elongated ruby crystal stands out for its sharp edges, which are accentuated by the regular cleavage planes of the marble matrix. An impressive example of one of the most sought-after gemstones.
