Amethyst

Thanks to its diversity, this is a very interesting specimen of amethyst from the Goboboseb Mountains in Namibia – several flat crystals grow at different angles from the volcanic bedrock in an interesting and decorative composition. The crystals have a variable habit, with the lying crystal being sceptre-shaped. Thanks to the clarity of the crystals, reddish hematite inclusions are clearly visible. This specimen is definitely not something you will tire of looking at!
