Popis produktu
The famous discovery of axinite specimens in Alpine veins at the Pujva site in the Subpolar Urals in Russia in 1991 shocked the world and completely changed the understanding of the quality of this mineral. The site produced exceptional specimens for the next ten years or so, after which official mining was stopped and the site was more or less abandoned. This specimen is nowhere near the size of the best finds, but it contains, to a lesser extent, everything that makes Pujva axinites unique – it is a semi-transparent, shiny and very sharp crystal on a slate-like metamorphic rock. A historical specimen, of which there are few on the market.
