Popis produktu
The famous discovery of axinite specimens in Alpine veins at the Pujva site in the Subpolar Urals in Russia in 1991 shocked the world and completely changed the understanding of the quality of this mineral. The site produced exceptional specimens for the next ten years or so, after which official mining was stopped and the site was more or less abandoned. This specimen is an exceptionally typical example of axinite from Alpine veins due to its “shirt” formed by the mineral chlorite. This mineral is typical of Alpine veins, where it often occurs in combination with other minerals, such as quartz.
