Bornite

This remarkable specimen comes from the famous discovery of bornite specimens at the Kazakh site of Dzhezkazgan in 1996. Specimens from this discovery remain unsurpassed in quality to this day and are therefore considered the best bornite specimens ever found. These bluish crystals growing on tiny quartz crystals are an attractive object of interest for all collectors of copper mineral specimens.
