Phlogopite

Although the Burmese Mogok deposit has become world-famous mainly thanks to the discovery of top-quality rubies, sapphires, and spinels, it has been enriching the collectors’ market for several centuries with a wealth of unusual mineralogical specimens. This translucent, well-defined light green phlogopite crystal growing in a white marble matrix is a good example.
