Rubellite

Experts call this crystal habit botryoidal, but we colloquially refer to these tourmalines as mushrooms. This unique form of pink rubellite growth on black schorl is found in only one place on Earth, near the town of Momeik, about 30 km NNE of Mogok in Burma. This unique area is the source of many rare mineralogical specimens, including tourmaline, phenakite, petalite, poudretteite, and danburite.
