Dioptase, malachite, chrysocolla, shattuckite

This mineralogically exceptional specimen from the Okandawasi site in Namibia comes from KARP’s own mining project. The specimen is dominated by a relatively large, lustrous dioptase crystal growing on a quartz matrix partially coated with light blue chrysocolla. At the bottom of the specimen, the composition is complemented by a cluster of dark green malachite adorned with spherical aggregates of ultramarine blue shattuckite.
