Shattuckite in quartz, malachite

This mineralogically interesting specimen, consisting of a combination of three minerals from the Okandawasi site in Namibia, comes from KARP’s own mining project. It is a completely new type of material, mined in 2025. Shiny, needle-like aggregates of malachite grow on crystals of light-colored quartz, which is tinged with a bluish hue due to inclusions of the mineral shattuckite. An attractive specimen with a delicate color combination.
